Momo - The Hippo

Moses - everyone calls him Momo - was born near Kampala on the shores of Lake Victoria. There was just one problem. He was a hippo who was terrified of water.

While other hippos splashed and played, Momo walked alone along the edge. Eating juicy fruits. Taking long naps. Always alone.

Until a little boy arrived with a magic float belt - and everything changed.

Now you can often spot Momo cruising Lake Victoria, with his best friend riding on his back.
